Last Saturday night (the 17th), We played at Hull Bay before  an enthusiastic crowd of mostly “northsiders”. There was a buzz and electricity in the place. Ras Abijah played quite well – especially considering the fact that many of the tunes he had heard only once or twice before! I began to recognize some of the faces which signifies we are in fact “building a fan base”   We tried out some new “dance tunes”, and they were well received – folks actually danced!!

Well, we’re back at Hull Bay Hideaway! There is usually a good crowd here and they appreciate the music, so it makes for a nice ambiance. This time we have Ras Abijah on guitar (subbing for Morgan). We hit at 7pm!

We enjoy the crowd at Jack’s. Almost all locals-we usually know quite a few of them. Plus Becca does a Trivia night there on Tuesdays, and does have a fan base for that! We’ll be playing our usual eclectic mix of  Blues, Country, Rock, R&B, Jazz, and original songs!  We hit at 7:30pm. Come on down and hang!!

The Becca Darling Band will be playing at Latitude 18 on Wednesday,March 17th–and every Monday from then on! This will be a chance to build our “fan base”. It’s our first steady gig and is just what we need at this time! Latitude is a landmark cultural place to play–( lots of very good music has been made there over the years)-and it’s got a great vibe!!

Now that you have visited our site and seen some of what we do please keep us in mind for Functions, and other Events  where you might want live music. We are a new band and we play a wide variety of musical genres. This versatility helps us fit into many different situations–from playing at the Governor’s Mansion to playing in bars!!

We’ll be playing at Robert’s Grille on Mon.March 8th  from 6:30-9:30pm. This is a beach barbecue and we can smell the grill from the bandstand-this could be torture if you show up hungry! The food is very good and the staff is great

We’ll be appearing next at Peg Legs Rum Bar at Yachthaven Grande on Feb. 25th for 6-9pm

The band has been playing a few Fundraisers for worthy causes lately It’s an honor to be asked and we’re  enthusiastic about being able to contribute in some small way! This was the first time that St. Thomas has hosted a United Nations Fundraiser–and we hope There will be many more to come!! Danny, Becca, and Barefoot Davis
